Good point! And, none have said anything about all of the OLD pickups that appear once a year. Or, even the drag car that not only was towed in for one GTG but was lit off, rattling every window.
Installed the hard bed liner I've had sitting around for several years. And, I swapped tool boxes to get the one off of Dad's truck on Rusty since I have keys for it. Now Rusty looks a bit less rusty. And, now all the doors and toolbox can be locked.
I guess not paying close enough attention, I believe at this point it would be hard for me to give up Rusty, even know he is somewhat of a clone to Dad's Truck
Yes, it will be hard to give him up. I have a lot of work in him, and he's so useful. For instance, tomorrow we may help some people move, and it ain't gonna be with Big Blue. Nor would it be Dad's truck if it were done.
I think I need to go get a load of rock for my wife in Rusty. She knows that's not gonna happen in either of the other trucks, so maybe she'll agree to keep him. After all, he's certainly paid for.
I'm not sure the implications of that, David. I now have two "in hand", Rusty & Big Blue. And if Dad's truck comes home in a couple of months then the work of assembling it starts and, eventually, I'll have three. That's the point at which Rusty, the red-headed step-child, is expected to depart.
But, then I'll have two primadonnas and no work truck. However, how do you justify three trucks, even if one doesn't cost much? Hmmm, what a tangled web we weave…
