If you're runnin 35's with 3.55 gears now and you change to the 4.10, it might be closer to being right.
It won't make any difference. The VSS reads axle revolutions not driveshaft revolutions..Changing tire size affects the speedometer/odometer but changing gear ratios has no effect.

Yeah, you're right, didn't think about where the VSS was at (ring gear)
I'm running 35's and 4.10's. My speedo is about 7% off. The truck will pull very hard to around 70mph (on the speedo) but I start getting TERRIBLE mileage if I push it any faster.
Thanks for the info. Ya i dont run faster than 70 right now any way. I got the axles home. I went there and he didnt have them out yet. So it took bout three hours to get them out and loaded up. He threw in a idm since i helped take them out. I paid 1000 for both axles. Il have pics up later.

Sounds good man! Did you get the track bar bracket?
He wouldnt let the bracket go but there was a 95 f250 there and the bracket looked the same. But i got home and looked at mine closer and i have drop brackets on for my lift. I got the four inch blocks Sway bar and Over loads for the rear. Im gonna go with the rsk 4 in lift. I need to do more research on this.
Track bar and track bar bracket, you'll need both. The track bar mounts on the right side of the axle and connects to the track bar bracket that mounts on the crossmember about where your pivot bracket now is.
Ok ya it is still mounted to the axle. I bout forgot the bracket that sits by the hog head that the u bolts go on. That would of been bad. It also has auto locking hubs but im gonna put warn premiums in it. I dont trust autos.

The track bar bracket that bolts to the crossmember is the one I was talkin about. you have to have that from the truck the axle came out of and bolt it to your crossmember.
Ok ya i didnt get that one. Il have to see if i can find one then. I have been reading up on the axle code 35 and i am pretty sure it is a posi rear end. I couldnt find any thing that says that but it doesnt say it is a limited slip either.

You think the guy you got the axles from would let you get the bracket off that truck?
Is the metal tag still on the rear diff cover, under one of the bolts? It should tell you on it.
