2008 Mariner Trans cooler

So the infamous 2008 Mercury Mariner trans cooler is leaking for the second time in two years and I know the free customer replacement thing ended in 2010. So what are my options as far as replacement? Is there an aftermarket cooler that will not leak as much? I know it is an AC condenser/trans cooler combo or something stupid like that...could I plug the trans ports on the cooler and run the trans line to an aftermarket cooler?

TIA guys!

sure you can plug it and replace it. I got an aftermarket cooler from Oriley's for $35 installed it myself.
