on the weekend i had a 1000km trip to make, and about 100km into the drive, my check engine light came on, and i noticed the power was weak, couldnt get any power unless the truck slowed down to 70km going up hills then i'd gain power til i reached 80km then it would slow down again. seems like the turbo isnt giving me that extra torque. the "cleaning exhaust filter" come on quickly then goes away. mechnic said EGRT sensors might be the problem causing it to not clean the filter. i been driving around lately in 1st and 2nd gear to try clean the filter out.

Anyone have a simliar issue and how to fix this.

Those sensors maybe the problem. You would need to replace.

Truck is in limp mode which accounts for the reduced power.

You need to get in on the computer and get the codes read.

It is still under warranty or should be so I would take it to the dealer.

 

ok it going to the dealer on monday, a 370km drive to get there.
i didnt get any messages about "reduced engine power"?
still cruises on the highway 100-100kms, doesnt have the power to pass anyone tho.

 

does cruise control work? If not then you will want to tell them about that as well. Will re-inforce that is not in your head but that there is a real issue.

 

The regen message now only comes on for a few seconds, then if you can't hear, feel or smell it regening you can cycle the diagnostic to see if it is still in regen.

Last time I had the loss of power symptoms and the cruise didn't work the small turbo was bad.
