It seems like it was just yesterday(2 years ago) that I was at the same point in my build. It sure is pretty just the way it sits. Too bad you have to add on all of the clutter to make that thing work.

Thanks guys. My son and I are psyched! Should get the tranny back next week and the frame back from powder coating the week after that. Then it's reassembly time!

Harrier, the color is Ford's Dark Blue PM (pearl metallic I think is what the PM stands for). The paint code is DX, whatever that means. Anyway it is the same color dark blue Ford uses on this year's F series trucks. We considered Ford's "Kona Blue" but in some light at some angles it looks purplish. Didnt care for it. So the body and interior will be painted the same color. Should be sweet.

Sweeeeet indeed, Tyler! Looks fabulous. My 2010 F150 is the same DX color code...Dark Blue Pearl. Love the color. Can't wait to see it installed on the fresh chassis and a little more shiney stuff hangin' off of it. Thanks for sharing.

We didn't paint our engine - man your's looks good!
Did you save a before pic of the inside of your engine?
That would be nice to see the side by side...
