PSD 6.0 FICM, ECM, TCM differences?
So I've read in a few places that the FICM and ECM/TCM are different in 6.0 PSD Excursions, than from what was put in the trucks. In fact, one user claimed he was running an F350 FICM in his Excursion. Now I know there are 6.0 differences between 2003/4 and the 2005 engines that required a different FICM. But does anyone know what the big differences are as to why Ford put a different FICM on 6.0 Excursions? I'd post in one of the 6.0 forums but it's like 25 F-series guys to 1 Ex-owner.
Dealership flashed my strategy up to VXCF9 when I did a tranny flush at 125k miles and my mileage went to crap. So now I'm doing a roll-back, but if the benefit is there just may get a F-series FICM at the right strategy.
Also, anyone ever seen a list of the strategys and what each adds/deletes/accomplishes?

The FICM are swappable, but the TCM and PCM are not. The Excursions have PATS and are not swappable with Superduties.
The FICM is what was detuned causing your crappy mileage, but you have options:
Power Hungry Performance - FICM Reprogramming
This will restore the power and fuel economy you were robbed of.
