Ohm out the UVCH! You really don't want to take it apart again!

Nevermind I found it, do I need to ohm the harness and the gasket too?

And do I test the pins on the inside of the gasket, (under VC) or the outside?

The pins on the gasket should be fine if they look ok. You can check them just to make sure with a meter.

On the UVCH just ohm out each wire and verify the show very little resistance. You should only see a few ohm's at most.

Won't the ohm check work only if it was actually in failure at the time? If you don't get anywhere with that, remember the drivers side is the easy side?

Well I did the quarter mod on the passenger side and I thought I was good to go. Drove it around the block and no CE light. But today I drove ut on the interstate for a few miles, and then when I got off and came to a stop at the light, the light came on again. Stayed on for a minute and then went out. Still coming on intermittently. I guess I need to get the codes pulled. Whenever the light comes on, it seems to run just a little rough, like there is a slight miss. Maybe an injector sticking or something?

It sounds like you may need to just replace the harnesses. Also check to make sure that there are no wires rubbing against any of the rods. Could have a worn spot that is shorting out.
Check the drivers side harness where it lays across the top of the valve cover to make sure there isn't any worn spots there either.

The idea of ohming out the harness is to disconnect it from the injectors and the VC gasket. You are litterly checking the resistance of the wire an nothing else. I have had a few harness that had pretty high (65-70 Ohms) resistance, while other wires had less than 1.0 ohm.

I also had a neighbor with an OBS that was having similar issues to what you are having. Random CEL and running rough, 1/2 mile down the road ran like a top. Ended up being a UVCH that fixed it.

I now know that neither the CPS or the speed sensor recall has been done on this F350, that wouldnt account for my problems, would it?

Most likely not. You could pick up a new CPS for under $25. I would do that before I let them take the one you have in it now. If it is working leave it alone.

The CC Recall is nothing that would effect your problem. It adds a fused circuit to the system that the gas vehicles were having troubles with.

Thanks to everyone, Ken and 1L243 for your help...Yall will have to excuse me because when it comes to electrical, I seem to have some sort of mental block or something. So I ordered an AP pigtail from riffraff, and was going to test what I could that way since I have it all put back together, I watched your video Ken on testing it but one question, is the key off when testing with that harness?
