Good points. I have an XLT and the stock panel has a matte/textured finish, I like it for no particular reason other than it blends in well with the dash and does not have a gloss finish.

I have to confess that I do not have an artistic/creative bone in my body.

Love it! Looks great!! You really got me thinking....

So are you driving the truck around now with no center dash piece or do you have it parked?

If you don't mind me asking, how much did he charge for it? It said to call for pricing... I can't imagine it costing more than doing the toilet seat cover

Yes.

I don't mind, but don't know how accurate it will be in the future. The guy that owned the shop 6 months ago quoted me $75. He had since sold the shop to the new owner who said he would honor the quote. I paid him $10 extra for rush service as I am driving around with my dash wide open. He said he is about 6 weeks behind but is catching up now that hunting season is about over. Lots of camo work there.

So P.I.T.S., are you having the two pieces from the door panels done as well? I like your new look. I'm going to just order some stock ones from an XLT though. Any idea where I can find part numbers for the three pieces? Going to swap the dash and two door pieces of fake wood for the standard silverish panels like shown in Trent310's pic.

No, only the center panel was fake woodgrain. I kept the silver in the center bezel to match the door pieces.

Not sure of the actual Ford parts numbers but you can order the pieces from partsguyed.com here:

https://www.trademotion.com/parts/20...gramCallOut=13

Part 15 for the center panel and then pick your trim level.

You may need to set up an account first.

Thanks. I had looked there but couldn't find the blowup you linked to. Got an account there too! Last time I checked Ed retired, but good to see they are still treating FTE members well. Will drop them a line. So, the pieces on your door panel around the window switches aren't wood?

Interesting. Mine on my 09 Lariat were wood so I assumed that they would be wood on the 12 Lariat I have on order. Excellent news. You just saved me $40 for the pair...

I did get the part number for the dash bezel. It is :

The one in my truck I pulled off is stamped with the part number that starts with BC34- but I can't find any info with that prefix.

BC3Z-2504302-C (Lariat - Woodgrain/silver)
BC3Z-2504302-BA (XLT Dark Foundry Gray)

There is a plain black one BC3Z-2504302-AA (XL) but it is all black

The -BA is cheaper than the -C if you are going to paint/dip like I did. The -AA is cheaper still but does not have the matching silver color to it around the radio.

There were some runs in the clearcoat on mine that they tried to cut out, sand down and re-clear but it turned out not to my liking so we are going to try it all over again with a new panel. That being said, I may have a slightly blemished one available after I get the replacement one done in a few weeks if anyone is interested.

I just missed one on eBay that sold last week for $50

The "semi-final" product:

Dear FORD,

This is how your dash should look with black and silver interior...
