the truck the Brotherhood "bought"

well as of a few weeks ago i acquired another 7.3 psd
this time its a 1997 OBS f250 ext cab long bed with 295k on the ticker
the story goes a little like this
my cousin owns a local tree company running 2 1997 F Super Dutys, 1 a chip truck and the other a flatbed, and his driver was this 1997 F250. He showed up to my gravel pit one day with his chip truck telling me how it would not stay running
after work that night i got under it swapped cps and cleaned out the fuel bowl (it wouldn't drain and had lots of water)
20 mins later it was running better than it had in months
he asks me what he owes me and i tell him take it off that pick up i want
he was more than happy to do that and asked me if in my opinion the truck needed anything else
$335 spent with clay and about 10 hours of my time i have the keys and a part time job
he is happy to have someone with knowledge working on his trucks and im enjoying learning more about the obs trucks

moral of the story is EVERYTHING i know about these trucks is because of you guys so my FREE truck was bought by the knowledge of the brotherhood

now i know u all want to see it but she aint much to look at ...for now
1997 F250 Ext Cab long bed
xlt...auto trans ... 7.3 of course...
red and grey exterior... grey interior...
all it really needs is front axle work and tires

also acquired a set of v code super duty springs from Greg (gbroehl1)...rep him!
and a full set of obs springs from a fellow 7.3 owner not on here

this truck isn't getting any money till swagger is done ...but then watch out

sat morning we finished pulling the Dana 60
i had pics but my phone deleted them

Sat evening we made a parts run and thanks to advance auto only half the parts were right
well we made do and got the axle just about ready to bolt in

by about 3 om this after noon the truck was rolling out of the garage

Looking good Jim, I have always and will always have a love for the OBS's. Need to find me another one at a good price.
