Wow, it's been a while since I've seen this thread. I had to go back and review the rules which seem to be:
Do one (and only one) of the following:
1. Add one letter
2. Remove one letter, or
3. Reverse any two letters.
and also,
4. The same word cannot be used twice in a series.
So as much as I'd like to change the C to a G and make 'Forger', that is against the rules - you cannot change a letter.
But in looking back at previous posts it seems that changing a letter IS ok.
If it is ok to just change a letter, then my word is:
Forger
If that unwritten rule is not valid, then I yield to michaloco to give us a new starting word, because there are no more words that can be made in this series according to the written rules without repeating a previous word.
