I just ordered an XL so I won't have to worry about this...or at least I hope not.

The cloth seats in my 2005 were terrible. Stained unbelievable easy. You would think Ford would do a better job on seats for a TRUCK...this is not some little sedan that takes grandma only to church on the weekend!

I never did find any i liked for my '03 F250 XLT with the 40/20/40 cloth seats. I just used an old twin bed sheet for yrs. Of course, i dont haul any pets around either... Now that i have leather bucket seats and only work outta my truck doing construction part time, dont see the desperate need for any covers. Maybe if i find a set easy to rip off when im not working. Until then, its back to the old sheet again!

Would you guys say the newer cloth seats don't hold up as well? My seats still look pretty good on my 2000 that has about 173k on it. Will be upgrading to a new super duty this spring (preferably with cloth). May have to follow your recomendations.

My 05 XLT cloth seats had holes in the drivers side in 40,000 miles. Not sure how the newer ones are as my 09 is leather and my 2011 has been covered since day one. My 2000 seats held up pretty well.

Hows your leather looking after some use? You could be one of the best qualified people here to answer on seat durability.....wrecker seats never seem to fare well with all the getting in and out.

Hey LSchicago2, are those Cover Craft seat covers and does the center seatcover cover the lid you open for the console. Can you still open the console lid?

Try using a furminator on your seats. I had black lab fur threaded through the fabric of my Chevy seats that just wouldn't vacuum out. The furminator was a last ditch deal that did wonders! Or at least well enough to sell the truck.

I too would like to know how the Carhartt covers fit/work!

Had a set of 2005 coverking cordura covers on 2 F-150's ('05 &'07) and really like em, unfortunately that fabric has changed to a shiny nylon Balistic "cordura" which is less comfortable but easier to clean and install. Can't re-use them again because the new seats have airbags - not because they are worn out !!

Got a set of Carharts that I've not put on yet. Plan on it today. I'll try and take photos, too.

Just put on the GT seatcovers tonight. Fit is good and material is comfortable. My dealer offered to install them for free. I dont like other people messing with my truck but they will be doing the next one.

I have a complete set of Marathon seat covers on order (late Feb or early Mar delivery). I will try to post pics once they are installed. I don't want to stain my new (very light) tan seats. I have to drive this truck a loooooooong time (wife's orders) and want to keep it looking nice as long as possible.

Here is the factory seats:

And the Cover King covers:

They have been installed for a year, and still look great and don't move around. I would buy them again.
On the plus side my factory cloth has never been sat on.
I have the light grey cloth as well...threw on a set of Cabela's premium seat covers...don't cover the center jump seat, so I Scotch Guarded all the seats before putting on the covers. Back bench, and 2 buckets only ran $80 since they were on sale. Only bad thing is they cover the side airbags. The are tough, as I looked at a co-workers set who had them for 3 years. I was just looking to protect the seats from kid spills and misc. All power seat controls are accessible. So far so good....didnt' wanna drop hundreds, and I think they're doing a good job IMHO!!
