OK, here's mine. Like most trucks some previous owner used a combination of a church key and cutting torch to install a radio. I found this old Pontiac speaker grill that dang near matches the curve of the dash to cover the hole. I made my own temporary instrument cluster by adapting a late model GM cluster to my original.

My original plan was to adapt this old Pontiac cluster to my dash. Maybe some day...

OK you asked for it, the top one is the way I got it and the bottom is the way it is once I mount the radio...

Modifications to the dash include new opening for 5" Dakota digital guages and moving the radio for a modern model.

these are Haneline 3n1s.. other vendors make combos now.. (tho most without the tach, see Autometer White or MCX series) Clasic Instruments, VDO.

comes with all the senders needed (electronic speedo from tranny, fuel, oil and water)

yeh on the price.. I like the Classic Instruments gauges too.. but at $800 they can keep them ..

Dakota's look nice too.. DAKOTA DIGITAL UNIVERSAL 2 DUAL ROUND VHX INSTRUMENT ANALOG DASH GAUGES VHX-1014 | eBay

same price problem tho..

haneline was a bit difficult to work with, some delays in production and gauge color issues.. but the gauges work, and I like the look.
