Wipers slow

My windshield wipers are slow. I describe the positions as delay or intermittant, low and high. When they are on delay or low speed they lumber across the windshield. When they are on high speed, it seems like low. Do I need a motor, or is there some relay i should look at. Don't want to buy both like usual cause I replace the wrong thing first. I have done that too much.

You may need to get under the dash and lube the pivot areas.

Did you watch the Matrix? It makes me swell like I see things much slower too....maybe you're the one!

I'm, seriously lube is a good idea, but it may also be the motor going out causing high resistance in the wires....hope that makes sense. I haven't had my coffee yet ...
