I am definitely not a fan of the the bully bars but I like the rigid light.... as mentioned, they are proud of them.

Rigid Lights

I have a pair of Rigid Dually D2s on my motorcycle and based on the price of those, I don't wanna know what the 40" light bar costs

They do make awesome lights though!!

I went ahead and ordered one of the light bars to put in my grille. A 34" inch model.

It is not a "Rigid" brand because I did not win the Lotto but its a pretty nice one.

Report and pics to follow.

Which brand? I just received an email from DDM Tuning regarding their led bar lights. They are half the price of the rigid.

Here's the one I got. The owner (Michael) has great customer service and has found a quality source much cheaper than the Rigid or other brands. He has been selling them for some time now and has had no returns. They have a 1 year warranty and LEDs are not rocket science so if they work off the bat they should work for a very long time.
M&R 60 LED LIGHT BAR 34" 180W CHEAPER THAN RIGID INDUSTRIES OR VISION X ATV UTV | eBay

I looked at his "Elite" series which would have been a 40" 48LED 144 watt with projector lenses in front of each LED but figured the 34" 60 LED 180 watt model would work better from behind my grille. It also mounts differently which this model will be an easier install.

He has many sizes and the best prices around.

(Hint: Find his auction for the one you want that has a "buy it now or make an offer" and offer a price about the cost of shipping lower and he'll probably take it. It's not much but free shipping is free shipping and he is not got a lot of profit in these to start with.)

I don't wear a Rolex...my Casio tells time just fine.

One of the rally guys built his light pod out of these light bars and it was super bright. Even brighter than my 4 x 6" round HID light pod on my Subaru.

How are you going to mount that 34" bar?

It came today so I went out to see where it would fit and what I would have to fab to mount it. As it turns out it will mount perfectly to the pipe/hose that runs across the front. Here it is temporarilly supported with zip ties:

One side mounts securely to the pipe and the other side mounts to the hose just past the pipe for support. It weighs less than 8lbs and is very stable.

And here after using hose clamps to permanently mount and the grille replaced:

It looks greenish in this picture but it was pure white. I think it about burned out the optic sensor in my camera. This thing is scary bright! The bigger 80 LED model would fit but you would have to find a different way to mount. As it was, this size (60 LED) only took about an hour total.

Rigid, smidgid...These M&Rs rock for the price!
