yep it happened again A post

So my wife and I were driving home from a night out on the town and we start to hear the passenger side a post ( plastic piece of **** ) start to make noise as if one of the windows is down. We're driving on the freeway at about 65 mph into the wind. Next thing I hear is something clip the passenger side mirror.... yep the A post flew off again... wtf? I posted a similar thread about a month or two again where we had a same problem just with the other A post. So I get home and see what happened heres the photo.

So the next day my wife calls the dealer... first they tell us that they have no idea what were talking about. Then he tells us that we need to bring our vehicle down... f that noise. So my wife explains to him that we had this problem a few months back and he just needs to look up the work order and order the same part for the passenger side A post.... what a dumb ****. A couple minutes later he says... sorry we dont have that part and tells us just to call up other dealers to see if they have one in stock... why not just order the part and do all the work for the customer instead of the customer doing all the work for you. So we call 5 dealers and none of them have the part, however one dealer told us that there was a recall on that part and that the first time that we had the problem they should of replaced both instead of just one. Damn I was frustrated. So we took it to the next level... My wife has a family member who works at the dealer that we bought the vehicle from. We called her and told her what had happened, who we talked to and the outstanding help they gave us... needless to say shes sorta high in the food chain and took care of the problem.
I was hoping to get a free service or two, a tank of gas(the drive to the dealer is 50miles away), a free soda... something... but nothing. This dealer is horrible. We've bought two vehicles from this place and they treat us like ****. The owner never talks to us... everyone seems to ignore us. So I think next time i have a problem or need a new vehicle im going somwhere else. I dont care if im going to pay more im just tired of being treated like this. This knuckle heads have earned a pretty penny from us, 2011 F250 XLT 4x4 diesel and a 2012 explorer xlt... I was going to give the name of the dealer but a family member works there and I dont want to take business away from her. They just lost my business.

Man that stinks. Sorry to hear you're still having problems with this. Hopefully they'll get it straightened out soon. Sounds like you need to start doing business with the dealer that told you the original repairing dealer should have replaced both trim pieces instead of just one.

Just curious...why didn't you call your wife's relative in the first place??? No way you should have been treated like that...the dealerships parts department could have found out in seconds about the availability of the part.

You should receive a survey from Ford regarding the warranty work...you can let them know the grief you've received from the dealership.
