yea i do hate not doing anything with the vans, or any of the old cars for that matter.. i have several vans from the early and late 60's..i sell alot of parts from my old cars, but would like to see some of the old fords restored and running down the highways.. i have restored a few myself and did have a friend take my old 71 and he is restoring it.. but the rest will probably stay here until i drop dead and my daughter has em hauled to the crusher.. but i guess we cant save them all

Yeah, we can't. For some reason I have a bit of a soft spot for the vans as well. I had an old 79 Ford Econoline that had the little sink deal in it, I don't know it that was some sort of travelling model or what, but it was sweet. Think it had the cleveland in it and I sold it for a couple hundred just because it had to be moved from where it was at and I just didn't have the cash to figure anything out with it at the time. But it was thrashed, it would have taken a ton to bring her back to anything decent. But it still sucked.

Well, you posted an image on page 5 with the two tone van. Appears to be a similar model to the new one in the second image rat77 posted on the first page, the original car show shot taken from way back. Anyways, if you could share some info on these or a link, that would be nice. I know little about those models.

I wouldn't necessarily call it cheap junk, how about expensive junk.
