I've never quite understood the Rat Rod craze either. But hey, if they like it, i like it.

 

I don't either, but it's funny when you go to a car show and see all the super nice cars, then the rat rods look like they are held together with sheet metal screws and duct tape.

 

It beats throwing all those parts out and think it would be fun to run around in, maybe not across country though..lol

thank you, I don't mind the rat rod look as long as they are built with safety in mind. There is a lot of creativity put into them and then there are" what the hell were they thinking" lol

 

I've driven some stuff back in the day that would have made a finished Rat Rod of today. You are right, some of them are very interesting. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike them, it's more of don't understand the concept. That may be a good thing for me...lol.

 

I think that looks pretty cool. Even though it looks "crappy" there is allot of cool good work there! I'd drive the hell out of it!
