We'll be at Dia Lk on the 4th. We are going to go up around June 28th and stay for 2 weeks. Evening of the 4th we'll anchor the boat out on the lake and watch the fireworks going off overhead. Might take a day and hike down into Skookum and try that.

I hadn't really considered that. I was thinking of the last time my BIL was out on the boat with me. I need a lot a ballast on the opposite side and we made it 30 min before he was so sea sick (on a lake) that I had to bring him back in to shore. (He's a dry land Kansas type).

My niece had her "hooding" and graduation last week, (George Fox), and is now officially a "Doctor". The next day she had to go back to Norfolk and do a couple of more months of some kind of school stuff and then she will be back here in July. She's going to be working at the V.A. in Portland and doing some kind of Post Doctorite stuff. Darned if I can keep it all straight.

I had just gotten him convinced that he had to eat a can of smoked sardines and the bag of M&M's before we left the dock if he hoped to catch any fish? He might be getting wise to that one so I'll try to convince him that the new good luck tradition for fishermen to do the Oreo's and henerys ale.
