Howdy everyone. Beautiful weather here in the valley. Supposed to stay warm all week.

Nothing much going on for me today....

 

Afternoon Oregon, in for a bit been prepping the Lumina for the road trip in a couple of weeks.I hate bending over cars it kills my back.

 

Got back from our bike ride, a lot of fun, but my butt and my arms are toast...... It was a nice day on the mountain, just a bit cool right on top.

 

Back from our anniversary, had a great time with the Mrs...........ready to face another work week.

Yeah right........I have no enthusiasm for monday.

 

Just got back from Bend, doing the Costco run, what a great day outside. We had to slam on the brake east of Dayville when a herd of deer decided to cross the road. When I mean deer I mean deer, there had to be over 60 deer crossing. When wefinally got through there were still deer that needed to cross.

 

Man, still nothing from Don...

Glad you had a good time Dave, you deserve it after all the crap you've gone through lately.

A late good evening to everyone. Wonderfull day. Started out fishing, met with both boys and their kids for an afternoon stove pipe shoot fest and still made it home in time to mow the back yard and burn the brush pile.


Granddaughter shooting one of the Hawkins. This one is a 50 cal.

 

And a grand time was had by all!

I have been to a dark place....................

Friday I got a call from the wife of a very good friend and fellow Nam Vet. He had a stroke Fri morning and passed away. Then Sat morning I received a call from Scott, one of my best buddy Bob's sons. Bob passed away Fri night at 11:05.

I lost two more Nam Vets in one weekend, and it triggered my PTSD. I became severly depressed and went to bed, hoping to avoid the pain. It didn't work........

RIP to two damn fine "Jar-Heads" May you finally find the pease you earned..........
