Well I seafoamed my motor today an didn't get as much smoke as I thought I might.

Next on the list is tO swap tranny valve body springs to a set of improved stock ones and ditch the shift kit. Maybe I'll use it in my 2wd when I get to building that up.
And to build a set of next bar style tube steps. Boss said I can help my self to the tubing rack and there's a couple chunks of 2" pipe and 1" that should work great

You didn't do it right....
Haha
I've done it at least 100 times. Probably 2 of them didn't smoke much at all.
If you put the seafoam in through the brake booster vacuum port then only half the motor got it, if that. Our intakes are split in half at the tb with only a 3/4" hole up front for a little better idle control (tb has a crossover also)
I'd say that if you don't have mass air that you'll need to fog it right through the throttle body.

I just read through this whole thing and I'm very impressed with the way you've come along. I've got an F350 and I'm needing to face lift it and do some other stuff, and this gives me some ideas. I'm also really enjoying the fact that you're getting everything from the J/Y! Nice work!

Can you guys explain a little bit more on how to do the sea foam properly. I did mine through the brake booster and I had the same problem, little to no smoke and this thing I'm certain is dirty! Where should I do it to make it work? Thanks!

Keep up the great work Midnight!

Same issue with the 460 really.
You need to probably put the seafoam through the throttle body which is tough.
Hmmm
Carver, I'm assuming you have the 460 in the f350.
I'd say unhook the intake hose at the plastic connector and turn the 90* hoses upward and while running, pour 1/4 of the bottle in each opening and let it slowly consume it.
The throttle plates are closed so it will only suck so much in. Then when it's gone dump he other 1/4 in each and just crack the throttle and let it get a good huff and then shut the engine off It works best with two people.

Midnite
I have a 351 in my 150 also. I'm still tryi g to figure out how to do it evenly.
Other then some fast sprayer and through the tb I can't think of anything right now other then tapping some holes in the upper plenum right behind the tb.... Which I've been tempted to do for nitrous anyway.

Nice! thanks guys!

Midnight, how's the grill paint holding up? I was considering doing mine, the chrome is all chipped and bubbling, and peeling. I was going to give it a good sanding, then prime and paint it.

Well swapped the large single shift kit springs out for a set of 3 like the factory ones and it seems to have helped some but the shift from 1-2 is still hard. I'm beginning to wonder if my torque converter isn't starting to go or something.

Got the tensioner and belt issues fixed.

And started on my side steps.
1 1/4" sched 40 black pipe for the hoop and 2" sched 40 black pipe for the straight top piece(not shown)

I went to the JYand grabbed a grey xl grille and head light bezels to paint black. My chrome grille was cracked and so was one of the headlight bezels

Thanks sir! It's looking more and more like I need to make a trip out to the junk yard. Got quite a list growing here.
