How does she know what tools you like? Or is it that youre really good at hinting things? I typically use the "Hey babe lets go to sears they have a great sale going on..." (Looks all disappointed) Then I smile in my head knowing I planted the seed

Sounds like a good plan, Stan. But I put things in my Amazon wish list. In this case I was working on our kids' Subie when my 3/8" torque wrench died. Did a bit of research and determined this was the way to go. Showed her on Amazon and just happened to have the "but if you buy that you should really get these as well" screen up. So, she ordered them - in spite of me saying "Yes, I'd LOVE all three, but the one I need is…"

I have one new addition, a 4 foot diameter fan, great for keeping fairly comfortable and also to stick in front of one when doing AC work. The other is something a late friend gave me years ago after I had helped with something on his XJ6 he bought with a bad head gasket. It is a Hazet tool box and work table combination. Opened up, the top is a convenient height to work from. Closed, the two shelves and top tray go down and can be locked. After that if you loosen the two ***** the posts fold down on top of the tray.

Fan looks serious. I have a pedestal-mount fan that is almost that big, but it won't go low enough for radiators.

As for the tool box/work table, I can see that being very handy. I bought a tool cart that holds all the tools I need for 90% of jobs, and the top of it is at just the right height to work from, but another small one would be quite handy.

Brought another of my acquisitions over, I was trying to remember how long ago I got it, but I am sure it's well over 30 years. Everybody has one of these and the balancer to go with it right?

Recently bought a Milwaukee 1/4" cordless impact and 1/2" cordless drill set. Very happy with that purchase. I use the impact constantly. Lots of power. Sure speeds up removal time a lot!

Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Drill Driver/Impact Driver Combo Kit (2-Tool)-2691-22 - The Home Depot

I got mine on sale

Bill - I always wanted one of those, but never found a good one for little money.

Matthew - I love my 3 Ridgid impacts. The 1/2" drive puts out 300 ft-lbs and takes 'most anything off. So I'm sure you'll find yours extremely useful.

I almost bought the Rigid equivalent set. My brother in-law has that set. I used it a bit when I worked for them helping them do backyard remodeling/reconstruction work. Although I liked the cast aluminum gear box and slightly smoother trigger better of the Milwaukee after checking them both out. I think both are great for the money. I just got the Milwaukee $10 + tax cheaper since it was on sale.

The Ridgid has a life-time warranty on the tool and the batteries. With that I can live without those features.

Gary, a friend put it on my driveway and said "if I don't come back for it in a year, it's yours" Never saw him again.
