Looks good, Bill. You'll use that washer and stand on that engine.

And, now that Bill's brought this thread up, here's what's under my tree:

18v, and 300 ft-lbs. And, there are two more 3 amp/hr batteries with it. Should be all set for salvage runs.

Nice, did you get a Ridgid Tool calendar with it?

No, that's not my style. But, I know what you are talking about.

Oddly enough, my son is now working for Emerson, which owns the Ridgid brand and still makes the hand tools. But, they let Ryobi make the power tools and sell them under that brand. And, there's no employee discount.

At least the Ridgid batteries have a lifetime warranty if you register them.

Bill, a new hose reel is a great score!

Actually both the batteries and the tool do have lifetime warranties.

And, the hose reel Will be a big help. I love mine and wish I had another one. I plumbed the shop for compressed air in several places, inc hig on one wall and in one ceiling. I don't have a reel on the ceiling, yet, but the one about 8' up on the wall is wonderful.

Got myself some new tools for Christmas. Some stuff I've desperately needed.

Harbor Freight special tap and die set. Already used it twice. Works good. Nice quality for the price. Best of all it gets much better reviews than the Craftsman sets of these days. I also got a 5 piece fiberglass ball peen hammer set, and a harmonic balancer puller. I've needed this type of stuff desperately. Now, I don't have to wait for my dad to bring home tools from work to finish what I'm working on.

Looks good, Matthew. You'll find lots of uses for the tap and die set. Nothing against the hammers, but the tap/die set will be wonderful.

It's nice to be self reliant. :

I didn't get any tools this Christmas, but I'm thinking about what I might want.

Oh yeah. I need a tap or die to repair something quite often it seems. As far as the hammers, all I had were claw hammers, and one antique 8 ounce ball peen, with a scary looking handle!

Got a couple that are about 5 pounds. They don't get used often. Probably older than all of us here! the vintage hammers and my 1/2 drive stuff were all my great grandfathers. And most of the stuff is from the late 30's.

While I was, first in WV and second in Newport News I picked up some items. A UV dye leak detector kit, will need the dye for whatever system I am working on. And another of my Rotunda tools, an 007-00097 TFI-IV diagnostic harness. I think it works with the EEC-IV tester I have.

The UV tracer could really come in handy. As for the ignition tester, I haven't had to use the one I got from you in the almost two years I've had it. Sorta good news.
