I agree I wish it was a full floor mat also. What I was thinking if you could find a take out rubber mat out of a newer Chevy work van and cut it to size it would look some what oem.I know the Gms have the mat,we have them in our fleet of vans at work, not sure how the Fords are we don't have any.

I used black rubber "runner" they sell by the foot at Home Depot. It's that ribbed rubber you put down to protect the floor in the house. It's the exact right width to go from the end of the rubber floor mat to the front of the gas tank. It looks pretty good I think. (it's real dusty in the pic, makes it look less black)

The PO of my 52 Panel truck used the same runner as in Ross's truck for the mats up front and rear.

Love the color, great truck too!

I was just looking at those runners at home depot last night thinking that it might work good to cover the firewall and floors on my F6 ? hmmmm

Merry Christmas Dale and the rest of the Family, FTE Family Too.

Dang it! Yet another one of you FTEers that is making me wish I had some body work skills - or were ready to go whole hog on the prettying up. Good looking truck Dale. Troublemaker.

That's what I want! Thanks for sharing this Ross. I'll have to check the local Home Depots.
