3 years!
I just realized it's been 3 years since I started this build thread......wow, time flies. I went back and read through the whole thing, what a project!
Been working on the running boards. I ended up cutting a bunch off the front edge to get the right length. Also had to extend the brackets a bit. Still need to make the fillers/skirts and trim the fender bottoms.
Also can't decide on battery placement, the OE had it on the right board with a cover as a step. I don't have the cover, so was thinking about hiding the battery behind the skirt towards the back. But then I still need to make a step.....dunno yet.
Also removed the leaking water pump....

Still playing with running boards......got the right one cut and fitted, trimmed the fender bottom. Decided to put the battery behind the skirt, so I had to build a tray....will access from the rear. Now I have to build a step..
Need to finish the other side and get some sheet metal for the skirts

Perfection? Not even....but thank you Jim(and everyone) for your kind words.
Just trying to make it functional and somewhat pleasing to the eye. I love doing fab work, but this build is taking too long. I'm burning out....
