Scott,
Here's a crazy idea.....how about mounting that cab light on the center bar of the grill next to the headlight. It looks like it might have the correct curvature. It could mount either on the topside or the bottom.
Either that, or I like Ray's method of running the lights on the cowl in conjunction with installing the dual elements in the original running lights

That is where the turn signal lights in the parking light location running in parallel with these work. Another advantage of this location is they are visible to a driver in your blind spot behind/beside you. The other driver is too far forward to see your turn signal stop light down under the bed but he can see this.

Scott, I considered mounting the T/S on the fenders, but I don't like the idea of working around them. It's hard enough to get at the engine with the narrow hood opening...and I'm not going to put a flip on it. But if the fenders had the original holes there, I might still have done it and searched for original lights.
I like the way Joe's (harleymsn) look on Edith, so I got those. And just because I felt like it, I converted my park lights to dual filament and made them turn signals too. Nobody in front of me can miss the signal...

I need some input on front turn signals! On my F-1 I used the park lights as turn signals....but they are small and pretty hard to see, especially with the lights on.
Been thinking about putting some back up on the fender tops.......either the round pedestal type, or maybe even some extra cab lights I have? Any other ideas?

let there be light!
Got the wiring pretty much finished....only a couple minor gremlins.
Cab lights are on and look very cool!
Also got my mini tach mounted in the dash clock hole. The tach was a little too small for the hole, so I made an adapter ring from an old gauge bezel. Then polished the brass rim. Wish it was chrome, but oh well.
I have started working on the engine cover again, hope to get it mocked up tomorrow.....
