I miss driving my Fridge!

I miss Driving my Fridge! It has only been a week since we got our first snow and all the salt that comes with it, but it seems longer than that. I sure hope you folks in salt free areas are really enjoying your trucks for the rest of us who have been sidelined by the onset of winter! I know that some of you folks drive them daily but for those of you who don't, please take a ride in you Fridge for me!?!

Steve, for you - and only for you - I will go and load another trailer-full of horse manure for my garden, using my Fridge.Touching, isn't it?I'll see to it that my wife does an especially good job of spreading that manure, also.

That is one of the sweetest things anyone has ever said to me man! LOL!

My garden could use a couple of loads while you are at it! At least a bushel or two to put on top of my Rhubarb bad!

ibuzzard, you do not know what memories manure and old Ford trucks bring back. When I had my first truck (a 60 F100 4x4) back in the mid 70s I spent many a weekend helping a friend who had lost her husband keep her farm going. Much of that was cleaning manure out of the barn and chicken coops. And I brought many a load (often overload) home for the garden and lawn. Thank You.

Once I get some license plates for mine I will start driving it out of the 3 mile radius where it has been corraled. The roads only see salt here a couple times a year, but I live up a 1/2 mile of dirt road and as you might have heard, it rains a lot here in the Pacific Northwest. The mud cakes up under the fenders and everywhere else and as it's so damp all winter it never dries out. All my good trucks are sort of put away for the winter months. They all live under a roof at least.
