Black or Tuxedo Metallic Black?????

Signing paper work tomorrow night on new truck. I just need a few opinions on what everybody thinks of the two colors I am trying to decide between. Black or Tuxedo Metallic Black? If anyone has any pictures of theirs I would love to see.

Regular Black should not even be available for order anymore and was only available for a short time after the earth quake in Japan temporarily shut down the plant that made the pigment needed for Tuxedo Black. Tuxedo Black was its replacement...

You won't see the scratches or swirl marks as easily with the Tuxedo Black. And it looks amazing in the sun!

It seems that tuxedo black is more of a grey/black and not as dark. I made a 6 year mistake by buying a red truck on a whim. I don't want to screw up here and told myself black for the next truck but it looks like a sweet color this tuxedo metallic black I'm just a little gun shy to go against my word. Worried that the metallic will be too shiny or something. I haven't been able to see black next to metallic black both CLEAN right next to each other and compare. Though I am leaning heavily right now to Tuxedo Metallic black. How do the swirl marks and scratches not show up as much through this color? If that is the case one more reason to go with it!!!!

My 07 and 08 SDs were black while my 11 is Tuxedo Black. When dirty, no difference but when clean, wow (especially in the sun). There's a lot more depth with the TB. The flakes help hide swirls; it's not fool proof as swirls will show but nothing like my previous black trucks. I think you will be happy with the TB as I certainly am.

This is the best photo I have (via this post that I did). The third picture is the best but it's only fair as the truck was a bit dirty. Like I said earlier, when clean, the depth is awesome.

Do they not have an example of the paint on a lot car/truck to look at? However my preference would be metallic over non.

You are braver than I. I had a black metallic car but never again. I guess I am too picky about it looking clean but do agree when they are clean, they are the best looking color.

If you reside in the deep South, would you mind having a black truck?

I like mine. It was very easy to match up and repaint my bed when it got smashed. In fact the paint store, said, they almost have 100% matching on color with the Tuxedo Black. Nobody plans for repairs, But they happen.

Even dirty camped out some place, it looks good
