Fan cluch, huge problem please help.
Sears, Matco, Snap-On, and others also sell that wrench, but it's like $30 from Sears so I'd guess $50 from the others. I took an old leaf spring, cut it off straight with a hacksaw, then cut the middle out leaving the 2 edges, then filed the opening to the exact size of that nut. A half-hour of work, but cheap & effective.

>I have gone to 5 stores and gotten the same tools. I need
>to pull a fan clutch on a 1993 F150 with the 4.9 but it is a
>huge bolt in the middle, not the little. Someone please
>suggest a tool. THanks.
I too have the 93. 1993 4.9 can either have the 36mm nut (EVERYONE carries the wrench for it!) or the 40mm nut. Just so happens I have the 40mm nut. WHAT A PITA!
Spent two days going around trying to find a wrench for this and finally said "Q&@$%& This!" Got a pusher electric fan, installed it on outside, and then cut the nut, fan and clutch off the pump shaft with a sawz-all.
If I need to redo I can always wait till the pump craps out.
