Looking For South Carolina Members.

Team, I would like to meet up with any local upstate SC members from this site, or join any local clubs. Let me know what is out there. Thanks

I am sure you are aware of the SC Chapter. As far as any local clubs, not sure of any. If there is anything I can help you with I am in the upstate.

There are a few of us here, but to my knowledge we have never tried to do a get-together. I would be willing to do something when I get home from this deployment. I am in the midlands area, though, if that matters. My opinion, and I realize this is going to sound kind of a-hole-ish, is that the SC Chapter forum here has so many other models of Ford trucks, and I really don't care very much about them. It also hasn't been very active from what I've seen over the years. I would love to do a gathering for just the 7.3 guys when I get home. Maybe if we can get others to chime into this thread we can at least know who to invite when the time comes.

Oh, and the annual RRE event is up in Newport, TN, every summer. So guys come from all over but mainly a lot of people from the Southeast. That is a great event that I plan to never miss (that is, if I'm not deployed like this year )

I can talk about my truck all the time, anytime. I also enjoy learning from others. I have learned more than I could have ever imagined on this forum. So I am also interested in meeting others that share the same hobby.

Well, So far this is good. I live in Anderson, and have been to Gilbert SC, as I have a nursery business. I have owned my truck since new 2001 f250,4x4,4dr, with 206k. I do have some intresting notes to this. I have just changed my serpentine belt for the first time at 200k. I have only did oil changes, 2 starters, and tires, that is it and the few recall eissues. Until now....it seems that I now have all the high mile issues at once, I have several leaks, low power. I did at about 20k miles, install Banks gauges,4 inch exh with downpipe, trans command and chip. I got all this at once, and the truck was great. But now I need to look into getting it back into shape. I plan to do this through the help of the good people from this site . And as for the mods that people have, I just want to know what works, and what I need, I am the person that looks for longevity not just go fast, i am past that part of my life....been there done that.

Sailor,

Be sure to ask your questions in a separate thread and I'm certain the guys will get you straight in no time.

As of now I'm not supposed to be back home until May. I would definitely support a gathering sometime after that.

Upstate SC near Greenville.

Non-descript two tone blue/tan F250 with a DP Tuner sticker and a 5er hitch.

Okay and an Upstate Armory Group sticker too. Like to take the truck to Whole foods for the ... contrast
