No spark, fuel pump not on all at once
Anyone ever have this issue? Something that was intermittent prior to full death, killing fuel pump and causing no spark?
1990 Ford Bronco 5.8 351w. I was running it for a while and sometimes it was rough starting up. I would crank it and if I didn't give it gas, it would cut off. The next time I would go to crank it though it would jump up like it was fine. Every time I began to drive it, I would never have problems, only starting, sometimes. Well one day I went to start it up and it started fine, then within 2 seconds, it shut off like I turned it off. Went to crank it back up and it won't turnover.
I noticed the fuel pump wasn't on so I dropped the tank and applied power directly to it, it was fine, however truck still wouldn't start even when I had the pump running from another voltage source. After switching the fuel relay, I pulled out the inertia switch and tested it, attempting to bypass it, I found that it was good and still no start.
I then found out I no longer have spark. This is all at once, so I went through Chilton's diagrams and tried to find the culprit that would be responsible for both the fuel pump cutting off and no spark. I tested the TFI, it is good. Voltage coming out to the ignition coil and the ground to the coil is good, pulsing. I am lost.

so according to the manual, it is supposed to be located under the left kickpad. I guess that is the panel side next to and under the glovebox??? I found a silver rectangular panel with 4 screws and opened it...there was nothing but a large hole. Nothing else. Any directions or descriptions of the computer would be great.
