So as I continue my search for an excursion dealing with finding one that is good and then working out the craptastic financing or begging a relative, since I have a recent chapter 7 for a cosigner I am faced with probably getting one that is on the cheap side.

I have not had to have much work done since I moved over to the east side of the state and wondering if anybody has anybody they would recommend? I have looked at a few diesel trucks but as I am new to the diesel I would really want to take it to someone to look at and from all the horror stories of what bad shops can cost you I would like to find someone that someone else that has a clue trusts.

Sorry I can't help you with mechanic - I'm over on the NE side of town, in Macomb Twp - but I just used Genisys Credit Union to finance my 2000 Ex after most banks/CU wouldn't even look at it due to age. Was easy-peasy at Genisys, they wrote it for the whole purchase price and I got a pretty good rate as well. Worth a look.

 

I will check them out, thanks for the info. Are you a member there? If they are good on normal banking stuff I may just switch as the credit union i use now kind of sucks and they have a branch that just is not that far away. Love your picture and quote btw.
