frame sounds sweet are you using a dana 44 up front and debating a 60 or 70 in rear? i would go with the 70 if i had it there already i went with a 14 bolt take some pics of the tank when you get it done sounds like its gonna be nice i'm soon going to have to figure out a extra tank for my crew soon almost done welding the 12v mounts

hey crazed.
on the axle thinking go with dana 70 but also thinking keep the rotating mass down for fuel mileage. 1.5" axles are nice on dana 70 and never have to worry about with smaller tires 285 75 16. the seats was a surprise on how simple it is to make work. make a bracket on floor to support ends and build a bracket on back wall of cab where the fuel tank used to be. fuel is now all outside, safety for me. on the fuel tank its a round aluminum tank been modified to set on frame and a few upgrades not to tricky. headers are a pain but has to be done. taking awhile to get decent. not gonna be perfect but worth the effort.

frt axle dana 44 3/4ton.
pulled a f-250 dana 44 for the front. wanted the heavier axle tubes for my application. light duty f-250 with some skills. looked at dana 60 but trying to keep the weight down wherever i can. not gonna be running any big tires on the truck, want a driver. lookin at a true trac for the front. got to get some more money up to do that project. pwr steering is next after headers and then disc brakes frt/rear.

I bought a charger and a set of battery's years ago. Rechargeable's don't hold there charge as long but still if ya got an extra charged set yer good to go. I have battery's that are 5 years old and still work great. AA's are needed in the mouse, TV remote and most everything. I have saved hundreds of dollars in battery's by recharging them. Just sayin.

gaining ground.
got everything pretty much mocked up. me and my buddy jason prepped and got everything epoxy primer and did a first coat on fiberglass front clip inside and out. I later got everything mounted the next day. do some final adjustments and will smooth out first coat of paint when i get back from north dakota. makin some bank$$ got to keep my ford motorsports program alive. Found a decent grill shell and had to fix a few spots to look decent. ordered some aluminum pieces from LMC for around head light. wasted a lot of time trying to find good grille. found one in scrap yard but dude wouldn't sell!! Next finish up tranny when i get back with ZF 5 speed.

not really yet.
will be picking up some new hydroboost lines from master cylinder boost down to pump. using stuff from a f-450 1996 to get the job done. its really starting to come together. once tranny done it will go a lot faster. the zf-5 speed to 400 has taken up a lot of time and interesting learning curve.
