Got in my truck yesterday a.m., took 3x's to run. Today, basically the same thing, but wouldn't idle unless foot on accelerator. Even after warmed up still wouldn't idle

the first thing i would do is perform a full tune up replacing the plugs, cap, rotor, and possibly an aftermarket coil and ignition box (msd). the timing sounds like it needs to be adjusted as well. good luck.

My does exactly the same thing. We have tuned up and replaced everything we can think of. If you figure out your problem, please share. Thanks.

Try tapping on the egr valve. If it starts to run better replace the egr valve. Sometimes they stick due to carbon buildup and the inert gasses flowing in at idle make it run rough! Hope this helps.
