any one running this cat back? i was running a catted straight pipe dumped oout befor rear wheel and it was super loud and droned really bad on the cab. so im switching to the mbrp 4" catback. mods to exhaust so far are ebay stainless headers(garbage!!!) y pipe and now the 4" catback. let me know if you have this combo or similar 4" catback setup

 

I think you will find you will find the MBRP will be loud and have a lot of drone also. MBRP basically took a diesel catback exhaust and threw a different label on the box saying its for the V10. The pipe size is too big for a NA V10.

 

ya seems like its just a diesel exhaust. dont think the 4" will be too big. my drone issue is because of where my exhause dumps out(right in front of rear tire) so getting it back to the back will be a big help

 

Volumetrically, a 4" cat back is not too big for an NA V10. A full 4" from y pipe back is tho. Many other companies market them for both the Dodge n Ford V10s, with good results.

 

thanks for input guys. i really need this kit. my old setup was crazy loud and was really hard to talk on phone and hear the other person!!!!
