I just bought this truck after returning from Afghanistan it's got 196K miles on it and needs some TLC. I want to either rebuild the engine or do a swap out. The fuel gauge doesn't work, also the rear fuel tank doesn't seem to work, assuming it's a pump issue cuz when I hit the switch to the rear pump the truck dies. Plus when I am driving and keep the gas down to maintain speed the whole truck starts to shake so any ideas?

6: Everything else

Once everything is done this truck will be painted high gloss black with a military paint scheme, my plan is to list every conflict america has been in where we lost soldiers, sailors, airmen, or marines. It will be my daily driver as well as a show truck. Also I plan to put the names of everyone who helped with the truck on the underside of the hood. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

what transmission does it have? if it's an auto then obviously the first step is to change the tranny fluid. pics man, pics.
