Oh, that's right, you can't eat bacon. That just sucks, Tim. So, will there be a time when you can again? Because of you, I've been ever vigilant of tics!

One day I will be able to again. Probably 5 years or so.
I can eat deer, elk, turkey, chicken, shellfish, seafood, squirrel so I should be gtg.
No beef or pork.

Howdy Thomas. Tim, at least you can eat that meat. I'd certainly miss bacon also!

Good advice. A bit of Cherry or Apple over some nice seasoned coals. Might be great!

I usually use apple, then toss in some hickory, just to spice it up!

Ill give it a shot. The only wood I usually avoid for smoking is Mesquite. Wife thinks it tastes too strong. Hickory is excellent.

Never used Mulbery. What is the flavor like Pat?
(Hopefully the answer is Bacon)!

Sorry bud, not like bacon! I haven't gotten enough to really get the flavor out of it, I just had a few peices a friend gave me. My MIL has a few mulberry bushes she wants removed, so I'll get that wood, and let you know when I try it.

Fair enough, you get off in less than an hour, grab your shovel and axe. (Teaser)!
