my story from supercharged f150 to diesel f250
In 06 I bought a new f150 KR. After about 6000 miles I was getting tired of the lack of power when pulling my boat and trailer so I decided to put on a supercharger. I did this myself in my garage.
The truck ran great for about a year and then I started to get surging and detonation. Full throttle it ran perfect but cruising it would surge. Well obviously Ford would have laughed at me if I took it in for warranty repair so I took it to the "best" tuners in the country to figure out the issue. They all said it was tuning but could never get it to run right and pointed fingers so after a year and mucho pesos decided to trade it in and I ordered my 2011 f250 KR.
I went with the general manager on the test drive and he told me he wanted it for his demo, hehe. I did mention the issue but he said no problem my service dept will fix it.
Ended up getting more than I had expected on trade in and the new truck on x-plan. A month later my new truck arrived and off went my problem child.
I was expecting a phone call from the dealership but never heard from them again. Later I ran into a salesman and he told me they sold the truck 3 times and it came back 3 times finally it sold for good.
Now the new beast I have had for over a year and towed all across the country, climbing mountain passes at max weight with power to spare to crossing deserts in the summer. This truck rocks

None at all (but I didn't use their stock tuning). The cool thing was that here in the Midwest, with E85 I used a flip chip (two tunes, one for 93 octane the other for E85) so when I really didn't care about fuel economy...
