Thanks for the welcome guys
Really appreciate the warm welcome. I'm located over in the Old Dirty Durham. I purchased my dent on 2/9/2017 from a buddy of mine to use as a daily driver (I might be partially crazy). It's a '77 F150 Ranger XLT Explorer, 4x4. It's never been restored, but is a solid survivor that I plan to bring back to it's originally glory as time and money allows. It's in amazing shape for it's age. Has 93,000 original miles, most of the interior is original, and it looks great. Even has the original hood ornament, which I'm replacing with a new one before some ******* breaks it off. Some things don't work fully, but I'm personally 41 and can understand why that happens. Mechanically, the truck is very sound, starts and runs great.
It's got the 400 block, with the C4 transmission. The original owner just got every option package they would let him have, which is kind of nice.
I've got a short list of things I want to fix/repair ASAP.
-Leak in fuel tank
-Has A/C, but it's not hooked up, and with NC summers I need A/C
-Headlights need some love, as does the windshield wipers which intermittently work
-Gauge panel, most lights don't work, only some of the gauges work
Long term stuff
-I got come rust to deal with. Nothing scary, but I'll eventually want to fix it.
Can't think of much else to say at the time. Look forward to participating with the group.

I'd like to meet you some time and see that Dent Side. By the pictures I've seen in the 73-79 forums, it's a pretty nice looking pick up.
