Are these Hong Kong jobbies holding up, I mean I know LEDs are indestructible (i've got a surefire P6 that's proved that) but how are they doing on the Xs? Any burn outs or fall aparts yet...I hope not.

As far as I've been able to figure you will need them. Be very careful to not put too much pressure on those when removing them. Mine were real brittle.

I bought these off Ebay as reverse lights and they're honestly not near as bright as my stock bulbs...kinda dissapointed. can anyone with more knowledge in these let me know if there are others that will be brighter/what to look for?

here's what I bought:
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

Same here. I bought the same bulbs but from a different seller and I pulled them right out. Half as bright as the stockers.

TXTinct, any pictures of the lit area behind you? I'm shocked that reg led bulbs would be brighter than smd's.

well 3 of the lights converted easy, the front drivers seems the socket is all corroded and messed up!! looks like the front passangers is aftermarket because it doesnt have the guard on the bottom no more and its not 90 deg its a straight plug. where can i get these at?

i really like the look of the lights now tho!

did the license plate ones too.. one of the ford plastic holders that directs the light to the plate seperated, had to superglue that! man.. will post some pics when it gets darker.

i couldnt figure out where to put the bulbs inside the vehicle. i broke one of the map lights when i yanked it out of the twist socket also. oops guess they dont go in there as it looks like they are crimped into sockets.

afraid to touch any other interior lights to change them at this point.

how do you take them lights down in the headliner? what ones do i need to get down?
