I think CV front ends are worth more than the entire car at this point. Nice work, Tom!

Makes me want to go and see if the 3 door 56 cab I know of is still there. 2 good friends of mine who have passed on have owned it.
Came on a 1ton chassis.

well gang, I bought my self a few Christmas gifts from the money I made selling off a few things.

I sold a parts truck and the exhaust from the crown vic donor.

and bought these for the project.

what do you think!

I know what you mean but they can look good if the theme of the vehicle matches. I prefer the 15" and beefy-er tires on the mid fiftys

20x8.5 & 20x10

255/35ZR20 front
285/30ZR20 rear

Honestly I am not sure who manuafactures them but I bought them from a company called wheel Manufactures.

Honestly I would usually agree that a 15 or 16 inch wheel is better. But for this project I am doing a mix of modern driver train and interior (seats, console, a/c etc) so I thought a modern set of wheels would be the icing on the cake.

Time will tell... but for now this is the wheels I will be using.

Not knockiing you down Tom, I like your truck and wheels and sure it will look fine. I've got a picture of one the looks dam good that is very similar to yours. You probably already seen it. I'll see if I can post it.
