Ridiculous Vehicles

Good question. I know he just leaves it at the curb when he goes up to the door at houses. But there are some apartments nearby.
We've got one of those UPS stores about 1/4 mile away. I think he might be working out of there and just nearby. I also wonder if it is just for the Christmas rush. It's been about a month since we saw it for the first time.

Every year UPS gets overwhelmed with packages this time of year. UHaul trailers, Penske trucks, and bicycles are SOP this time of year.
I can immediately cross off DUI ony list of "why he's on a bike", they would probably just did fire him, not adapat their business.
My guess is its just much easier to scale package delivery fleets when your vehicle only has 2 wheels and costs $100.

Would be cool for the drones to follow the bicycle and drop the package at the door while the cyclist kept moving.
Does this mean we'll see them on bike all year or just in December? I guess even a month of cycle use would pay for a day's fuel in the Brown Truck.
"UPS trucks drove 2.5 billion miles last year, but the company says its package flow technology combined with right-turn routes saved 28,541,472 million miles, and three million gallons of fuel.
The company puts almost 92,000 trucks on the road every day. But without its efficiency and right-turn routes, it would have to send out an additional 1,100 trucks."
