F100 on Last Man Standing

Tim Allen drives a 53 (at least the grill is 53 but the close up looked like a 56 grill hump) F100 on his new show, Last Man Standing that is currently on now. It's a green truck. Anybody know anything about it?

He currently owns a green '56 in real life that was used in the "pilot" episode.

yeah i saw that, my brother has a 56 in the same green/white color combo, exact match for it. I found a link on detroit speeds website about the truck, small block cobra motor. I know he also has a silver 56 with a blown hemi in it, which i think he purchased at barrett jackson for around 75k. heres the link to the green one on the show...

also my two cents, i thought the show was horrible. I think tim allen is a real jerk and this show is basically him being himself and going off on rants for as long as ABC will allow.

Yep, I think that was the truck. They just flashed the outside for a second or two. I guess it wasn't a 53 grill after all.

i was a bit miffed watching the show that he had smoothed out the tailgate, but the ford logo is still there in the photos. I'm thinking that was just something done for TV, especially with him being the voice of chevy now...

If the Ford emblems were removed on TV, it's likely electronic, like CG. That keeps the producers from having to get permission from and pay royalties to FoMoCo for showing them.

One would think that it's free advertising. Corporate greediness at its finest!

Yep, cool 56. Hope they keep it as part of the show as much as they did the nomad on home improvement. I also liked they showed it on the street and not just parked in the driveway. As far as the show itself I think its as good as most and the 56 adds a big plus.

I like the truck a lot. Clean and Simple. Also goes to show you can never judge a shop by it's name. I didnt think DSE fooled with any thing but Camaros and GM suspension parts. Very nice job on the truck.

DSE makes some killer stuff, after coming into this crowd with my F1 I went to their site and realized they sold a weld in front sub for most hotrods..Never knew that.

The people at DSE are very very nice. I've scene them stay behind to lend a hand to get someone on the road...

Although their stuff is not cheap..haha

I need to check out the show now...damn another one...Thanks

I'm an old Home Improvement fan, so this show was stereotypical Tim Allen-which I'm quite alright with. The last 56 F100 he had with the Hemi in it was on Ebay the last time I saw it. I guess he decided to go with Ford power this time.

Nice looking truck, nice and clean. But don't you think the bumpers would look better in black rather than cream or off white?

Nice catch; I didn't see that. I gotta agree that the cream isn't doing it for me either. His wheels are painted cream, maybe he was just matching it all up? In his income bracket, I'd have gone with chrome.

Resurrecting this I guess....was researching the truck he drives on the show and found this thread.

I like the show....I'm glad there's actually a show geared towards normal men again like Home Improvement was. I'm tired of all the metrosexual pc men shows out there now.

The '56 adds a nice plus....
