Thanks in advance guys...I'm posting for my Mother-in-law.
She has an '08 F450 and a week ago while towing her fifth wheel, her wrench light came on...took it to a shop, they said its the oil cooler.
She had to get to her job in TX (shop was in TN), so...she had to rent a van, get everything in it she needs for her job, drove to TX, worked the weekend, then drove back to get the truck and trailer.
80 miles from the shop...you guessed it, wrench light back on.
She HAS to be back in TX on Friday for work and is having an emotional breakdown.
Can her truck make it there for her to deal with then?

Was the truck repaired at a Ford dealer?

 

Yes, it was...in TN.

 

I am sure that any Ford dealer would honor a re-claim, providing it's not another issue that is not related to the original repair. I would have it checked ASAP.

 

If she can get it there, then as ljutic says, any Ford dealer will honor the claim. Unfortunately, if the wrench lite keeps kicking on though, she won't be able to get it there as it tends to go into limp mode in most cases.

Is that the case here?
