Unhappy Exhaust smell in cab

I have a 2011 F350 4X4 with 14K miles. Recently I have noticed an exhaust smell in the cab when stopped in traffic and it seems to be getting worse. Any thoughts?

Yes, take the truck to the dealership and let them fix the issue. Do not mess around getting advice online. This is a serious issue and could kill you and your passengers if not fixed.

Redford is absolutely correct! Exhaust in the cab is deadly especially with winter approaching and windows being kept closed CO (carbon monoxide) is the primary component of vehicle exhaust, think about this before you cut the muffler off and leave a turnout just behind the cab! Please!

Did you get this issue resolved?

I just started having the same problem. 2011 F350 6.7L. About the same mileage.

Exhaust smell

I took my truck in to Ford and they had it for 2 days. They checked for exhaust leaks and found none. They also checked to see if there were any problems with the make up air for the cab and found none. I took their lead technician for a drive and couldn't reproduce the problem. What a surprize. The outside air for the cab comes from just under the windshield wiper on the driver side through the slotted holes. I have come to the conclusion that it's normal to get some exhaust smell in the cab this time of year. I have recently noticed it with my other cars also. I think you should have Ford check it out for just your peace of mind. I would be interested to see if they find something.
