Has anyone found a company selling the firewall insulation for a 51 F1? LMC sells them for the older and newer trucks but not the 51. Would the 1950 or 1953 style work? They sell a molded abs plastic one for $200 but I wasnt looking to spend that much. Mine is completely gone and the passenger compartment gets pretty warm without it.

The '50 cab is the same as the '51 except for the dash, and maybe some bracing, but the firewall is the same. So the '50 insulation should be exactly the ticket!

 

My mistake on the insulation, they only offer it for the 53-56 in the regular insulation. The 48-52 is the abs plastic. I am guessing the firewall on the 53 is so far off its not even worth nuying to try. Thanks for the reply.
