Yep..I guess I should say "dinghy" LOL! Ideally, I would like to find an good older 2wd manual trans truck with a shell, or a car, or anything decent enough that weighs under 2300 lbs, (around 1800lbs would be great)! It has to be capable of being towed flat (4 wheels down), at any speed and distance, and must be dependable.
I have lots of time to find one as we will not be traveling until late spring again.

Good Morning Everyone! Happy TGIF!!
Howdy Pat! Yeah, its fairly heavy for certain! Right now, expense wise, to use the motorhome on vacation, we pretty much balance out in comparison between gas and RV parks, as opposed to hotel rooms and eating out twice a day...a big plus is we have our own bed and bathroom, (no bedbugs, etc., to worry about). It has its own dish and antennae for tv, it is roomy even with the slide in, so if we can find the ideal vehicle, the wife should be happy. Well....for 10 minutes anyway....LOL!
How are you this fine day??

Yeah, I hated to sell ours, but my dad couldnt take anything that would bump the boat, so, maybe in a few years we might get another..but since the summer season is so short, and I'm on call one weekend a month, plus the times it rains or is too windy, narrows the chances to get out and have fun, so the rv works better for those situations as we can be in the mountains or desert and still have fun when the weather changes for a bit.
