FR100...where have I been.....

Recently got a european magazine Chrome and Flames with a write up on the FR100 53 Ford....

Just realized it has been in development for over 2 years....

Anyhow, after looking at the fender work done on the FR100, the front fender openings were moved forward and SEEM to have been closed in a bit.

Has anyone out there done this type of work to their front or rear fenders?

53-56 F100 fender openings are pretty big, so was looking to do some custom mods and closing the front inwards a bit on some spares I had lying around to see how it looked.

choptop, I think this is a great idea.I recently saw a Magazine article on the mods to that truck, sorry I don't remember which one.A few years ago there was an article where they installed a M11 crossmember farther forword than stock, then moved and narrowed the front fender opening.Great idea that improves the clearance on a low truck.Someday in the future I would like to pursue that modifaction to my 53.
