PCV valve

Does my 1991 F150 XLT 5.0 have a PCV valve. If yes, can someone point it out.
Thanks

Yes, it should. It is located on the rear of the passenger side valve cover. I have a pic in my "'92 Ol'e Blue" album if you need a pic of the location. If you are replacing it, be sure to spend the extra few dollars and get a Motocraft PCV valve as a replacement. Not an OEM equivalent. Your local Ford dealership has them for about $7 or 8 bucks. Hope this helps.

Yes, it does...

Passenger side valve pan cover, main back.....Simply pull it out, swap with the new one, and push it back into the grommet...

PCV valve

Thanks Wes. Great picture. Would you also have a picture of the a/c componets on the same engine. I have what appears to be an a/c pressure switch located right by the oil filler cap. The switch is there with two wires coming out of the top that someone has cut. I am looking to reconnect them.
Thanks again,
Harley

Ummm I'm not sure of what you're meaning...There is no A/C components ON the engine, except for the A/C compressor....

Lemme see what I can turn up though...

It's a bit of a pain to change out but, you need no tools to do it.

1991 F-150, 5.0 V-8

My PCV valve is new all filters are new plenty of suck on the PVC valve and plenty of blow out of the other side (next to oil fill) however there is so much blow, it will blow a quart of oil in 75-100 highway miles out of the air filter intake therefore soaking the air and PCV filters, running down the inner fender. Help! Any suggestions?

I completely agree on checking compression.

Also, are you using dino, synthetic blend, or Synthetic?

What's the maintenance history of the truck? Could be the oil passages in the head a clogged allowing for the puking into the air filter box.
