Russ u got any build pics of those trucks? U said the beds are like 12' long. Did yall extend the frame or does it just overhang that far? If you have any good flatbed pics or ideas, check my flatbed thread. Just yanked the 8' rusted bed off my 99, looking at all kinds of builds and pics to get ideas on how to execute my build. Likely all wood, and I want the most flat area I can. Thinking 7' wide by 10 to maybe 12 long

No build pics since we built the beds a few months ago waiting for the trucks to show up...so this week has just been putting them on, bolting them down and welding up the bumpers/hitches.
The best thing to do would be not go over 8'6" in the length. the rule of thumb is 40/60 dont go over 60% of the length behind the rear axle.

They are F-550's ordered with 84" CA (cab to axle) so no frame alterations were needed on these units. They are 12' beds with custom rear bumpers and skirting.
