Where do you hail from (3wildboys)?

Replace that leaky air filter with one of THESE or make your own with a 4" elbow and a 6637 air filter that you get from Napa. It frees the engine up to breathe better and won't leak dirt into your engine like the (recalled) stock air box can.

Plus, it lets you hear the turbo a bit more. Not that you would be interested in that kind of thing though.....no.....

Look up top of the engine, in the valley specifically, for the source of that leak at the inspection cover. The valley has a tendency to collect leaking oil and fuel and it drains down the back of the block and runs out around the inspection cover.

Oh and one more thing, if the PO wasn't especially good with the Preventative Maintenance, you should get yourself some SCA test strips and check the SCA levels in the coolant. Long story short, the coolant in our trucks requires an additive called SCA and improper levels can cause cavitation and more severe trouble down the road if not corrected. Think sand in the coolant and you're not far off....
